05 Oct Seaside Luxury Boutique Hotel North Vancouver Opens

I was quite happy to hear that a new luxury boutique hotel has opened in North Vancouver, somewhat in our neck of the woods. I do like to help promote local companies so we’ll take a quick look at the latest luxury hotel to hit Vancouver. Just a short SeaBus or car ride over from Downtown Vancouver will bring you to Lower Lonsdale in North Vancouver. An area that’s a bit more quiet and refined compared to the craze of the city.

The Seaside is also close to the hiking trails, local mountains and of course the Lonsdale Quay Market which is a fantastic place to spend on a rainy Vancouver afternoon. This west coast connection is feature heavily in the hotel’s appearance and interior spaces, modern yet feels like home. What I really love however are the views from this side. Most guests here don’t experience this bit of Vancouver and from here you can look back on the city and all the harbour action right from your room.

Inside the Seaside hotel you’ll find 71 deluxe rooms and spacious suites, all designed tastefully and they also boast fantastic views either of the mountains or harbour. Each room is made to echo the natural world around us, including a reclaimed wood focus wall, lavish marble bathrooms with dazzling chrome finishes and a great bed to rest on at night.

For those that love to wine and dine, the hotel restaurant is named Seaside Provisions which only adds to the great restaurant scene in North Vancouver. They describe Seaside Provisions as a restaurant that blurs the lines between restaurant, bar and lounge. Not too stuffy, great atmosphere and food should do well here and I for one cannot wait to have a visit when I come over from Victoria.

The new Seaside Hotel is now open North Vancouver and there are an assortment of rooms and suites that are ready for guests. We wish everyone over at The Seaside the best opening year possible and that it’s great to see another project from Executive Hotels launched in this city.
