CBD Infused Activewear Sets A New Luxury Trend

I’m someone with a keen eye on the Cannabis market, mostly for investment and wellness and this newly formed activewear company certainly caught my gaze today. Poised as the “world’s first and only CBD-infused activewear brand”, Acabada ProActiveWear has launched out of the gate already setting itself apart from the competition. So just how does this CBD infused activewear work you ask? According to them, it works through a scientific process called microencapsulation, which strategically infuses the CBD molecules into the fabrics by wrapping microscopic droplets of zero-THC, hemp-derived CBD with a protective coating. Through Acabadas patented textile finishing treatment, the microcapsules bond to the inside in the fabric of their activewear.

The infused CBD is s placed within the garments to align with certain muscle groups, and the microcapsules gradually open over time as each layer meets with friction from your skin during exercise. The goal here is to have the CBD is released and trans-dermally absorbed, where it interacts with your body’s endocannabinoid system and help reduce the pain and inflammation.

Each piece of clothing from the Acabada ProActiveWear contains up to 25 grams of zero-THC, lab-certified, 99.9% pure CBD, which they say will last through 40 high-intensity wear and wash cycles. So what do you do after all that CBD goodness is worn and washed out?

Acabada customers can choose to sustainably recycle their CBD-infused garments through Acabada’s upcycling program which will put those materials to good use.
