This auction showcases nearly 200 lots that Anthony Bourdain personally acquired during his life and it includes some of his most valued possessions: artwork, books, home and decorative furnishings, knives, wrist watches, apparel and more. A significant portion of the proceeds from the auction will benefit the Anthony Bourdain Legacy Scholarship at his alma mater, The Culinary Institute of America. While there is a lot to bid at in this auction, the bespoke knife crafted for Bourdain by Bob Kramer really stood out to me.

This custom chef’s knife is made from steel and meteorite, and it comes with a certificate(AB1A) to Anthony Bourdain. It was issued to him on March 31st, 2016, and it comes with a beautiful black carrying case. The folks over at iGavel Auctions put its initial cost at around $4,000 – $6,000 USD, and there is already a $21,000 USD bid from a Bourdain fan.
