Cost Of Advertising On Google’s Homepage?

I’m not sure how many of you noticed the other day but there was a bit of advertising on Google’s homepage the other day for the second Hobbit movie. I don’t have much to go on other than I wonder what that kind of advertising cost, and how many users did that little link drive.

While it is of course intertwined with Chrome and a great ploy to get more users on their browser, it must have cost a pretty penny on the production company side of things. I doubt this spot would get sold just to anyone and it’s a great cross branding promotion in my books.
