Krispy Kicks | ‘Do The Right Thing’ Inspired Low Air Jordan Son of Mars
“Do The Right Thing” was a movie that started a lot of things. Namely, the sneaker career of Mars Blackmon. The Spike Lee character bled into the sneaker business with the Air Jordan Retro III’s that were released in 2007. The color scheme was wild and crazy but it fight right in with the Cross Colours clothing and the graphic Spike Lee Joint Tees.
These new joints, due to drop on June 29th, are a low reincarnate of the III’s called the Air Jordan Son of Mars . The kicks are a mirror of the color scheme of the movie posters with yellow, gray, white and blue the main colors of the body with a gray patch on the heel and a white jump man on top. The yellow laces are a color pop and so is the red jump man on the tongue. The throwback elephant print on the sides is a cool visual too.
